Hermetite Red is the original semi-hardening Gasket compound.

Hermetite Red is a semi hardening gasket jointing compound developed originally for use with cylinder heads.

- Semi hardening - Easy and quick to dismantle for servicing and repair.

- Excellent gap filling properties - powerful insurance against leaks, ideal for use on pitted or roughly machined surfaces.

- Helps inhibit bi-metallic corrosion between metals such as aluminium to cast iron, soft alloy to steel.

- Temperature range: -40 degrees to +250 degrees (maximum).

- Resistant to petrol, oil, steam, water and anti-freeze.

- Also suitable for use on either flanged or screw-threaded joints.
